The creativity, magic and color of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada are the main protagonists of the 2nd edition of Lanzarote Fashion Weekend.

The Centers reedit an initiative that captivated the public last year and that turns the island into a platform where big brands find a unique environment to present their proposals in a surprising way.

The creativity, the magic and the surprising use of the color palette of which the designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada is permanently displayed are, without a doubt, the great attractions of the 2nd edition of Lanzarote Fashion Weekend, the innovative initiative of international character organized by the Centers with the aim that values inherent to Lanzarote such as sustainability, nature and art, become the best platform for major brands to find a unique environment to present their proposals in a surprising way.

Lanzarote Fashion Weekend is an initiative that aims to promote the island in the fashion sector from the natural and human resources of Lanzarote, a link between the main commercial firms and their customers through everything that is and means the island. Fashion, tourism, gastronomy, music and technology, then come back to shake hands, in this case, through the clothes of a unique creator, who has the ability to constantly surprise the public with its daring and modern looks.

After the success achieved last year by the Catalan creator Custo Barcelona, the volcanic tube of Jameos del Agua once again becomes an international fashion show that will bring together specialized journalists, celebrities and celebrities around the Madrid designer on Saturday, May 18, from 8:00 p.m. The Catalan designer, by the way, has confirmed his presence on the island during that weekend to enjoy the event.

But Lanzarote Fashion Weekend is much more than a spectacular fashion show. For two days, between May 17 and 19, the island will become the epicenter of the fashion industry and will show the world some of its most prized corners, such as the Cactus Garden, the Casa del Campesino and the Castillo de San José, among others, from the front pages of the media through the articles, posts, photographs and reports of the representatives of the most prestigious national and international media that will travel to the island to cover the event.

Lanzarote Fashion Weekend is also a window that projects the work of Lanzarote creators and designers grouped in Lanzarote Moda, who, over the weekend, can exchange knowledge and experience with representatives of the most recognized fashion firms on the planet. It is also planned that our designers can wear their creations in a very special parade during that weekend.

Tickets to enjoy Lanzarote Fashion Weekend 2019 will be in the next hours on sale on the official website of the event, https://www.lanzarotefashionweekend.com/.

LZTFW ’19 is organized by the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, the Cabildo de Lanzarote and XXL Comunicación, and sponsored by Turismo Lanzarote, Iberia Express, CICAR, Lanzarote Moda and the Hotels: Princesa Yaiza, Arrecife Gran Hotel, Seaside Jameos Playa and Costa Calero.

About Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada

Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Madrid designer, one of the longest in the Spanish industry, has managed to create its own universe that far exceeds the fashion world.

His creations are inextricably linked to the binomial art / industry. On the one hand, his pieces, sculptural and hyperstructured, have been exhibited frequently in museums and galleries around the world. On the other, its production has not focused solely on the world of fashion but has spread to other areas such as decoration, stationery and even accessories for pets. In addition, he has collaborated with different companies and official organizations in the design of uniforms, costumes and sets for theater, opera and dance shows, Christmas lights or playgrounds.

Optimist, colorist and staunch enemy of the black, in the universe of Ágatha the game, the strident colors, the polka dots, the stars, the stripes and the hearts predominate.
