Golf for tour operators returns to Lanzarote

Last Thursday, April 11, the official presentation of the ‘III International Golf Lanzarote Cup’ took place, a circuit consisting of 10 tournaments that will be held from April 20 until October in the fields’ Lanzarote Golf of Puerto del Carmen ‘and the’ Costa Teguise Golf ‘.

The main peculiarity of this competition, which is organized with the sponsorship of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the External Promotion Society SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote through the label ‘European Sports Destination’, is its closing tournament, the ‘Ryder Golf’ whose participants They are representatives of tour operators and travel agencies.

This competition will take place on October 18 and 19 at the ‘Lanzarote Golf of Puerto del Carmen’ and about 300 operators are invited. The objective is to promote Lanzarote through golf and promote the tourist trade. This 2019 celebrates its second edition.

Vázquez highlighted the important promotion that this circuit represents for the island as a qualified and differentiated destination, as well as its contribution to the increase in tourist spending. For his part, Rivero stressed that the circuit incorporates three more tournaments compared to 2018 and that, for the first time, one of his tests will take place in Fuerteventura.
