Saborea Lanzarote Food & Wine Fayre returns to Villa de Teguise this coming 23rd and 24th November for the 9th year running. This food and wine extravaganza not only showcases the variety of cuisine available on the island and celebrates local produce, but it also promotes Lanzarote as a tourist destination with a difference.  The shared ethos of organisers and stallholders alike are: sustainability; land & landscape; culture & heritage; and food & health.

There’s far more than just tasty treats on offer; there is also a programme of workshops, talks, presentations and classes that visitors can attend for a ‘hands-on’ experience.  The ‘Aula del Gusto, offers the chance to watch, listen and learn as the country’s best Michelin Star restaurateurs present masterclasses and tasting sessions. This year’s guest speakers include the Torres brothers, Andoni Luis Adúriz and Oriol Castro, to name but a few.

Following the success of previous editions, the ‘Aula Saborea Lanzarote’, cookery classroom is back, with talks and demonstrations by producers, master cheesemakers, winemakers and chefs. In addition, the Timple Museum will provide the venue for activities revolving around the many varied and delicious products typical of the different islands in the Canarian archipelago.
