El MIAC invites to the Gonzalo Chillida Exhibition (San Sebastián, 1926-2008), a project framed in the Artist Collection series.
The exhibition of Chillida, one of our country’s finest painters in the second half of the twentieth century, connects us with the work belonging to the MIAC collection, Sands oil on canvas, dated 1979.
40 works offer the viewer a glimpse into the universe of this creator, moved by the landscape and the earth.
Sands, Forests, Mountains and skies will be his great themes, led to purification of the painting that touched on abstraction through infinite variations.
